I was looking to purchase Sharp XG-E1200U LCD projector from Proline... and the price quote I got from Proline in Seattle ($6186) and Portland ($4860) was so drastically different. After talking to Laura Moorehead in Seattle, she did decrease her price...but only by $1000 or so. What are your experience???? And folks in Seattle area--where do you purchase your system? is there somekind of state-wide agreement? I know that at Willamette, we enjoy the state-rate. ***************************************************************************** Keiko Pitter Chief Technology Officer Willamette University Executive Director, Integrated Technology Services 900 State Street (503) 375-5427 Salem, OR 97301 FAX (503) 375-5456 http://www.willamette.edu/~kpitter/ kpitter@willamette.edu ***************************************************************************** From bnelson at willamette.edu Mon Dec 22 16:19:56 1997 From: bnelson at willamette.edu (Bill Nelson) Date: Fri Jul 16 16:34:32 2004 Subject: Request for NT assistance In-Reply-To: <01IQDWAWYO2Q0047MQ@plu.edu> Message-ID: Greetings, We are also readying a (small) NT rollout. Just make certain your LCD projector is NOT manufactured by Fujitsu (e.g. some Boxlight and Galaxy models.) Ours broke down with some kind of logic board problem only one month after the warranty expired. The estimated repair time is 20 weeks. You heard right, twenty WEEKS!! Boxlight had to ship it to Japan, and once there they have a 16 to 18 week turnaround. I'm so mad I could SPIT! Anyone else had this unhappy experience??
